Docentric CE provides multiple self-serve resources to help you learn and troubleshoot. You can access contextual help directly within the product, explore documentation and video tutorials, or connect with the community.
Use in-product tips
Docentric CE includes built-in guidance to help you work efficiently without leaving the application.
Help buttons in dialogs: Select the Help button in dialogs to open the relevant documentation page. For example, the Document Run dialog includes a Help button that takes you directly to the corresponding documentation.
Ribbon action tooltips: Hover over ribbon actions to see tooltips that explain what each action does. For example, hovering over the Run Document action displays a description of its function.
Field tooltips: All fields in the Docentric CE application include tooltips that explain the expected input and purpose of each field. For example, fields and actions in the Data Model tab of the Document Setup page display helpful descriptions when you hover over them.
Access help and support resources
The Help and support area in the Docentric CE site map provides quick access to external resources:
How-To Manuals: Opens the Docentric CE documentation website where you can find guides and how-to articles.
Video tutorials: Opens Docentric's YouTube channel, which contains video tutorials covering various Docentric CE features and workflows.
Forum: Opens the Docentric community forum where you can ask questions, share solutions, and connect with other users.
Blog: Opens the Docentric blog, which includes product updates, tips, and best practices.
Support: Opens the support page on the Docentric website where you can submit support requests.
Submit idea: Opens the feedback page where you can submit feature requests and product improvement ideas.
View available languages
Docentric CE documentation is currently available only in English. Additional language support may be added in future releases.
